VipIR

VipIR from 908 Devices represents a new generation of 3-in-1 portable analyzers for the identification of unknown solid and liquid substances directly in the field. The instrument combines Raman and FT-IR spectroscopy technologies into a single intelligent workflow using Smart Spectral Processing (SSP), which automatically evaluates data from both methods and provides one reliable result.

VipIR is designed to meet the needs of HAZMAT teams, military forces, police, customs authorities, drug enforcement units, and other security services. The instrument enables the rapid identification of narcotics, explosives, toxic industrial chemicals, chemical warfare agents, and common industrial materials without the need for complex sample preparation.

Thanks to its rugged construction, intuitive operation, and integrated Wi-Fi/LTE connectivity, VipIR is suitable for deployment in demanding conditions directly in the field. It includes an extensive library of more than 39,000 chemical substance spectra.
