miniRaman microscope

The Danish company Lightnovo offers the world’s smallest fully confocal Raman microscope (17.5 × 18 × 41 cm). The microscope enables the acquisition of both 2D and 3D Raman maps, with submicron resolution in 2D and micron-scale resolution along the z-axis (depending on the objective used). At the same time, the scanned sample can be visualized using optical microscopy with reflected illumination or, optionally, side illumination of the sample. The Raman microscope can operate in upright mode or in an inverted configuration for measurements of biological samples. The microscope uses Lightnovo spectrometers, either the miniRaman or the miniRaman Pro. These spectrometers can be removed from the microscope and used as standalone spectrometers. Thanks to the adapters offered by the manufacturer, the microscope is compatible with objectives from various manufacturers.
