identiFINDER R700 is a new model of a highly sensitive backpack radiation detector from FLIR. The detector uses proven technology from the top-of-the-range R440 handheld detector.
The R700 is designed to complement FLIR’s range of handheld RID and SPRD detectors with a highly sensitive backpack detector, while retaining the user interface characteristic of FLIR instruments, providing easy operation across all FLIR radiation detectors.
In the backpack detector category, R700 also provides spectroscopic capabilities, including radionuclide identification, which is a standard feature across FLIR radiation detection instruments. Identification is very fast, enabling a rapid response to developing situations, which is particularly important for the protection of VIP meetings and large public gatherings.
